A nice crowd of local cattlemen gathered on a cold and clear January 27th to evaluate and bid on an exceptional set of stout, well balanced Gelbvieh and Balancer bulls. The entire group of bulls had an average BW89, ADJ.WW, 757 ADJ YW., 1251 Scrotal 38.3, REA 15.6, IM FAT 3.34.

Topping the sale was a January born Homozygous Black polled Balancer sired by Connealy Lead On.-Mike Hastings of Lawrence had the winning bid of $3000 on this powerful herdsire prospect.

Topping the Red Balancers was a well muscled E.T.son of Donor cow 148L and Mach One. Gary Herbek of Lawrence took him at $2100.

Tying for top Red Balancer was a well structured, stylish son of PCCI 3075. Ron Bauer of Sutton selected this stout April bull calf for $2100.

Volume buyers with 2 bulls each were many time repeat customer Ken Hubl of Lawrence. Dan Alber and Rick Alber from Blue Hill also selected 2 bulls each.
